This week I learned how to Find a fraction of an amount. To do that you need to figure out if the top fraction is an odd or even number. if it is an odd number than you need to Divided it by the big number and then times the answer by the bottom fraction and you will get your answer. but if it is even then you just need to Divided Bottom Fraction by the big number and you will get your answer. To prove it Here is an example
1: 1/4 of 32=8
32 % 4 = 8
2: 1/8 of 16 = 2
16 % 8 = 2
3: 5/8 of 16 =10
8 % 16 = 2 X 5 = 10
Also I learned how to round a number. To do this you need to get a number and round it so it becomes a different number. I will do that here
Round to the nearest Hundred
668
so what you have to do from here is look at the 2 numbers and see if it is close to a different hundred or the same hundred. I will show you. Under 50 is the same hundred and over 50 is a different hundred. I will do so Here.
668 to 700
This because 68 is closer to one-hundred.
I hope you learned something from this post and stick around (Literally) for some more post's about work, videos and much, much, more!!!

Hi Mackenzie
ReplyDeleteI really like the way you were telling us what you learnt this week. Maybe you might want to next time to put it out or in another way set it out better.
