First aid with room 11

Today at 9:00 am we had 2 first aid lades from Christchurch come and visit us at Grey main school. and it was very interesting and we learnt a couple of things about what to do in an emergency.  one of the most impotent things was DRSABC and that stands for:

D for Danger
R for Response
S for Send 4 help
A for Airway
B for Breathing
C for CPR

Remember: only use CPR if the person how is lingered is not breathing and also make shore he/she is unconscious before you do DRSABC by calling out to them.

you have to do all of those in the event of an emergency. we also learnt how to rap a bandage around a person with a wound and we did it with a partner in room 4. (my buddy was Cameron)

I had loads of fun and i think it was amazing for them to take time off work from Christchurch to come and teach us about First aid.

Random Friday writing

THAT'S A GOOD MORNING!!!

It was 7 o,clock, 27/6/2015 and the sun was rising. This time we where lucky to get some snow!!! It was still cold and man as the sun shined on the snow it made the sunrise look better even from a dissidence. It was also in the middle of Autumn. The leaves had fallen down from the highest bit of the tree to the lowest branch. We decided to go to the forest to look at the killer view of the sunrise and it looked EVEN BETTER then before!!! To bad the news say it will wear off in 12 hours, which was a little bit of a shame. So that is why i'm going to stop writing this story, go outside and make the most of it while i still can!
NOW THAT'S WHAT I CALL A GOOOOOOOOOOOD MORNING!!!

My locket poem

it keeps all secrets safe from others,

not to be revealed not even by mothers.

holds messages just like notes,

never to be sent on boats.

I don't think i'll ever see none,

but maybe i might see one!

this is the locket poem.
