Over the last few weeks we were drawing little pieces of art for art class. These are a few of the things I have done.

What I think about music

Music has been great so far. We have been learning a chosen instrument and how to perform a song as a band. But my favourite instrument is the piano. I think that music is good for my well-being because it makes me feel happy and helps relieve stress.

Careers in 9DV!

In careers, we learned how to write SMART goals.This is how to write one. My goal is to get better are spelling and punctuation. 

Attribute	Explanation	An Example
Specific	Do you know exactly what you want to accomplish with all the details?	I will get better with my spelling and punctuation.
Measurable	Can you quantify your progress so you can track it? How will you know when you reach your goal?	I will spell as best as I can and then correct it and look at it and practice spelling the word.
Attainable	Is your goal a challenge but still possible to achieve?	I will practice every week/day until I get good results.
Realistic/Relevant	Is your goal realistic and within your reach? Is your goal relevant to your life purpose?	I will need this skill in exams at school or in a office.
Time bound	Does your goal have a deadline?	I will complete it by the time I finish high school.

The science post! Elements and compounds!

An element has only one type of atom and a compound is when 2 or more elements are chemically combined. For example, Mg (Magnesium) + O2 (Oxygen) = MgO (Magnesium oxide). Once you turn 2 or more elements into a compound, you will not be able to turn them back into elements. Here is a video that we did for this experiment. Hope you enjoy!!!

and welcome to my wearable arts post. This post will be about my groups wearable arts project. Here is a photo of the project we have made. 

As you can see, it is a boat.

There are 3 people in my group. Me, Marshal and Kaleb. We are doing the Marshal Islands fishing festival because the leader of our group is Marshal and... well... lets hope you get it. We made it out of 2 cardboard box's, old fabric, a tube or something (look at my hand with the flag in it), fishing wire, a flat peace of cardboard (witch we rowed up) and little joey.

Yes, we named a fish.

The "History Rocks" production

The Grey Main School production has begun. The first night may be over but there are 2 more performances. Friday (today) at 7:30 pm and also Saturday from 1:00 pm. And the exiting part is I am in the production. Here are a few selfies that I took before the production started.

Also in case you do not know, The Doctor Who series finale is on Sunday on sky channel 4 from 7:30 to 8:30 pm. Here are some videos of what will probably happen

Book Character Day!!!

Today is book character day and it is the best (so far) and I dressed up as the 10th doctor from Doctor Who.

Not much difference is there? I went as the 10th doctor because he is my favorite doctor out of all 13. What's your favorite doctor?

Hello. I'm Back!

Hay. I'm back after the holidays, and we (Totora 2) have been so busy. But it is good to be back. Right now we are doing 1 thing for topic and art. We are doing Vincent Van Gogh. "That's it? that was not very interesting at all!" Well button it and hear me out. 2 things. 1, I have been very caught up with other things. 2, it is the first week of the term. do you think the teacher will be working my butt off? My Cupcakes

Tonight from 5 pm to 7:30 pm at Grey Main School there will be a Family Fun Fiesta and this year Totara 2
 have to make cupcakes for the Fiesta. I made mine yesterday and I think it is really cool and I am super proud of what I have helped Mum to make. Here is my finished product.

I made my one look like the TARDIS From Doctor Who. Thanks Mum for all your help.

HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN???

In 2015 I made a speech about my visit to the Cadbury factory in Dunedin and what you can do there. Here it is
  
And why did I post this now? THEY ARE CLOSING DOWN THE FACTORY IN DUNEDIN AND ALL OF THE CHOCOLATE IS COMING FROM AUSTRALIA!!! THIS MAKES ME SO ANGRY THAT I JUST WANT TO SMASH UP A FILING CABINET WITH A SHOVEL!!! But I'm not going to. No. Instead I'm going to protest. That's right! If you thing this is a good idea, go down and comment what you think and together (maybe) They might stay open!!! FOR CHOCOLATE!!!!!

My work this week

This week I made a Powtoon about the 1860's as one of the disaster tasks that has been set. It is also the last week of our disaster topic so here it is.
Also I found out that the stop motion app on my Chromebook (that broke down, long story) was working again and I have spent a lot of time making stop-motions. Here is one of the many I have made.
