Careers in 9DV!

In careers, we learned how to write SMART goals.This is how to write one. My goal is to get better are spelling and punctuation.

An Example
Specific
Do you know exactly what you want to accomplish with all the details?
I will get better with my spelling and punctuation.
Measurable
Can you quantify your progress so you can track it? How will you know when you reach your goal?
I will spell as best as I can and then correct it and look at it and practice spelling the word.
Attainable
Is your goal a challenge but still possible to achieve?
I will practice every week/day until I get good results.
Realistic/Relevant
Is your goal realistic and within your reach? Is your goal relevant to your life purpose?
I will need this skill in exams at school or in a office.
Time bound
Does your goal have a deadline?
I will complete it by the time I finish high school.

The science post! Elements and compounds!

An element has only one type of atom and a compound is when 2 or more elements are chemically combined. For example, Mg (Magnesium) + O2 (Oxygen) = MgO (Magnesium oxide). Once you turn 2 or more elements into a compound, you will not be able to turn them back into elements. Here is a video that we did for this experiment. Hope you enjoy!!!
