The science post! Elements and compounds!
An element has only one type of atom and a compound is when 2 or more elements are chemically combined. For example, Mg (Magnesium) + O2 (Oxygen) = MgO (Magnesium oxide). Once you turn 2 or more elements into a compound, you will not be able to turn them back into elements. Here is a video that we did for this experiment. Hope you enjoy!!!
